Research Interests
Dr. Gaweesh research focuses on traffic safety and Connected Vehicles (CV) applications. Traffic safety is a major branch of transportation engineering, which focuses on applying advanced statistical techniques to analyze crashes and traffic incidents to enhance the safety performance of road networks. With the continuous evolving of the traffic safety science, state-of-the-art analysis techniques are adopted and utilized to facilitate safety research.
